Mini Review - Venue - The Star Room

This one is hard to find if you have no clue where you need to go. Seriously tucked away...as in sharing an entry to a pizza restaurant...is the room with the view - The Star Room. (Not to be confused with Star Casino.)

Residing on level 6 of the IMAX complex, this venue boasts lovely views of Darling Harbour, making it an interesting choice for weddings and associated important functions.

PROS: Food and wine menu choices (the Profiteroles with Strawberry Custard - yummo!) and the view (I was there during the day, but have heard that night views are impressive).

CONS: Drink service was a tad disappointing (the function I was at had ordered Mocktails which took several people asking for them before they came out) and the Bread/Butter was taken away from the tables after entrée, the Lamb - although delicious - was overcooked and the Chicken could have had a bit more flavour.

OVERALL: Not disappointed, but I think I expected more from what was sold to me as being a 5-star venue with water views.
