I would never have thought that such a cute little gallery could have been host to such a gorgeous reception. Nestled in the mountains on the Old Bells Line of Road (Kurrajong Village), we found Sassafras Creek Food and Design.
Crisp white table cloths, charming centrepieces and heavenly views over south-eastern Sydney easily made me change my mind.
Staff were on the qui vive, smartly dressed and very kind, always smiling and polite. Truly a massive compliment to the Management of the venue.
Food was far beyond what I had expected. Greeted with tasty mini-Quiches and amazeball Tempura Prawns on arrival, Duck or handmade Gnocchi on the menu for entrée followed by sumptuous Barramundi or delicate Brisket for main - all were of the high quality one would expect from a 5-star hotel-based reception venue.
Venue is warm and inviting, with beautiful artwork adoring the walls. Highly recommended for parties of under 60 people.
